Originally based in Garwood, NJ we moved our flagship store & factory to Fanwood in 2007 because it was important to us to stay local. We make all of our mattresses on site, using only the best materials the industry offers. We take pride in only using USA-sourced materials, and having a small carbon footprint. Ask for a tour!

We build it, we deliver it, we back it 100%. With a Shovlin® mattress, we promise a great night's sleep so you'll wake up feeling like a superhero ready to conquer the day! Our warranty & guarantee protect you from manufacturer defects and product failure (but not normal wear and tear).

Special Financing

We understand that mattresses are big ticket items, so want to make it as convenient as possible! Meet Shovlin Financing: our 12 month financing option *though in special-case scenarios we allow for an 18-month period, too. Subject to approved credit.

Custom Mattresses

Since we build each of our mattresses to order, you can pick the materials, softness, shape & size. We make a variety of innerspring & foam mattress for: campers, boats, couches, dormitories, trundles, sofa beds, foldaway, California sizes & more! You name it, we’ve done it!

We’re a one-stop-shop for all your bedding needs! We carry a variety of bedding options including: pillows, mattress pads & protectors, removable pillowtops & bed frames, sheets, as well as adjustable bed frames that offer a variety of features and options.

Sustainability & Community

We take pride in giving back to both the community and the planet through local partnerships, charitable initiatives, and more sustainable business practices. We support youth sports, host tours for Girl & Boy Scouts, provide mattresses for local veterans, and donate to Play for P.I.N.K. We’ve also invested in reducing our environmental impact by transitioning to solar energy and partnering with One Tree Planted to support reforestation efforts around the world.
